How is a life coach different
from a therapist or counselor?

The main difference between a life coach and a therapist is their focus. Life coaches focus on helping clients achieve their goals, while therapists focus on helping clients heal from past trauma and emotional distress.

What is a life coach?

A life coach is a professional who helps people achieve their goals in life. They do this by providing support, guidance, and accountability. Life coaches work with people on a variety of issues, including personal development, career growth, relationships, and overall well-being.

Life coaches typically have a background in counseling, psychology, or human development. They use a variety of techniques to help their clients, including goal setting, problem-solving, and decision-making. Life coaches also provide support and encouragement, and they help their clients stay motivated on their journey to achieving their goals.

If you are looking for someone to help you achieve your goals in life, a life coach may be a good option for you. Life coaches can provide you with the support, guidance, and accountability you need to reach your full potential.

Why should I see a life coach?

To achieve your goals. A life coach can help you set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals. They can also help you develop a plan to achieve your goals and track your progress.

To make a change. If you are feeling stuck in a rut or if you are ready to make a change in your life, a life coach can help you identify what you want to change and how to make it happen.

To improve your relationships. A life coach can help you improve your relationships with your family, friends, and significant other. They can help you communicate better, resolve conflict, and build stronger relationships.

To boost your confidence. If you are feeling low in confidence, a life coach can help you build your self-esteem and believe in yourself. They can help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and develop a plan to improve your confidence.

To manage stress. If you are feeling overwhelmed by stress, a life coach can help you develop healthy coping mechanisms and manage your stress levels. They can also help you identify the sources of your stress and develop strategies to reduce it.

To overcome challenges. If you are facing a challenge, such as a job loss, a divorce, or a health crisis, a life coach can help you develop a plan to overcome it. They can also provide support and encouragement during difficult times.

Are life coaches LEGITIMATE OR even certified?

While there is no one governing body for life coaches, I am certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). The AACC has rigorous standards for certification, and I am committed to meeting those standards on an ongoing basis. This means that you can be confident that I am a qualified and experienced life coach who can help you achieve your goals.
